eHouse RS-485 (Formerly eHouse One)
eHouse RS-485 system is based on large (all in one) controllers RoomManagers (RM) for Room management, control and integration of all subsystems (including lighting, heating, any devices on/off, dimming, measurement and regulation, wireless IR control of RM and external Audio/Video devices).
It creates most natural division of home automation functionality on Rooms assuring 100% of functionality of RM.
RS-485 industrial serial bus can be 1200m lengh for single segment of installation. It can contains up to 250 eHouse RS-485 controllers. Data bus can be expanded with RS-485 repeaters up to 250 times. It gives teoretical possibility to connect up to 65000 controllers on the bus wchich can create enormous installations (eg. hotels, offices).
eHouse RS-485 works on full-duplex (4 lines) version of RS-485 (RX+,RX-,TX+,TX-) for limitation of collisions on the bus.
It requires supervising host (eHouse One Sever) eg.:PC, CommManager, eHouse.PRO which support eHouse RS-485 communication algorithms.
For current applications without access control we sugest eHouse LAN controllers unless unique eHouse RS-485 features are not required:
- access control, function limitation (RFID)
- BlueTooth control
- Control with RF remote controller 433MHz of the system
It implements:
- Events/Commands based actions
- programs/scenes for ON/OFF outputs, dimmers, measurement and regulations
- advanced scheduler-calendar for unattended and cyclic operations
- IR codes database for remote control of each EthernetRoomManager from standard SONY (SIRC) Remote Controller
- IR codes database for remote control of external Audio/Video systems from ERM
- access control and restrictions, function masks, authorized RFID (Mifare) card lists
- programmable events assigned to digital inputs (on/off) for emulation traditional instalations with switches and user interactions
- programmable events assigned to measurement inputs threasholds (Min, Max) for regulation purposes
This functions strongly increase functionality of eHouse RS-485 system comparing to standard, manually remotely controlled "smart I/O devices", because eHouse enables intelligent automation, together with remote control.
All eHouse RS-485 controllers works on wired industrial serial bus (full-duplex up to 1200m) installed on serial UTP-8 cable. This means controllers are not separated each other and use common power supplay and require proper grounding.
For smaller installations up to 100m data bus could be put in star topology (but require testing before finishing building).
It uses non aging technologies assuring live time greater than 10 years, several times larger than wireless controllers.
eHouse RS-485 system consists of:
- RoomManager Controller (RM) - integrated control, management, regulation, IR remote control for Rooms, flats, etc.
- HeatManager Controller (HM) - integrated control, management, central heating, ventilation, recuperation, solar system, boiler room, bonfire, regulation, hat water buffer.
- ExternalManager Controller (EM) - integrated control, management, drives, rollers, gateways. (mature product should be replaced by CommManager/LevelManager or eHouse.PRO in current installations)
- CommManager Controller (CM) - Gates, Gateways, Drives, Servos Control, integrated security system with SMS notification
- LevelManager Controller (LM) - variant of CommManager with single outputs, integrated security system with SMS notification
- eHouse PRO controller which can replace ExternalManager, CommManager/LevelManager controller for larger and hybrid installations
- eHouse Software for Configuration, Remote Control, Graphical Visualization and control, Speech recognition, interfacing and integration to third party products

RoomManager (RM)
RM is intelligent programmable&configurable microprocessor controler, optimized for complete management of whole rooms, flats or permises - control lights, heating (regulation), any electric devices (on/off), dimmers, Infrared suported devices, switches/sensors (on/off), measurement sensors (0,3v3).
It shorten and strighten installation of comfort home automation system by reducing installation time, wires, work to single room (dividing it to small segments).
Due to access control support, Mifare card reader (RFID) and function limitation it is especially dedicated for hotels, offices, public places installations.
It required supervising host: PC, CommManager/LevelManager or eHouse.PRO server.
For current aplications without Mifare card reader (RFID) we suggest eHouse LAN installations

ExternalManager realizes control and management of drives, gateways, doors, windows. Equiped in InputExpanders has additionally security system features.
EM pcb and hardware is the same as RM (software configuration selectable). The only differences are:
- RF 433MHz receiver (instead of IR receiver). RF remote control with dedicated miniature eHouse RF controllers with dynamic code (KEELOQ) for security system control
- RS-232TTL interface with I/O Expander (up to 48 security inputs) support for security system (instead of BlueTooth and RFID alghoritms for RM)
- 13 pair of outputs for drives, gateways, doors control in somfy standard (close, open, stop) (instead of standard single outputs)
- 1 output for wicket control
- 2 standard outputs (on/off) (eg disable external sockets)
- Horn, Light - Security Outputs
- RF support (instead IR for RM)
- security programs + security zone (instead standard programs)
- RF controlers database with zones settings (instead of IR)
HM differences
HeatManager can control and integrate very advanced boiler-room including ventilation, recuperation, solar system, heat water tank, central heating, boiler, bonfire.
HM pcb is the same as RM. The only difference are hardware optional resources:
- 16 ADC inputs for temperature measurement of whole heating-cooling and boiler room equipement (instead 8 in RM)
- 21 dedicated outputs with relay drives - for switching pumps, aquators, electro cut-off, recuperation servos, auxiliary fans, etc,(instead 32 for RM)
- 12 auxialy output for notification leds - for signaling bonfire, heat water tank status, and critical alarm situations (instead 12 (on/off) inputs in RM)
- RS-232TTL port for integration and control of AMALVA REGO air handling device (recuperation) automatically from eHouse
- HeatManager require dedicated Firmware variant

eHouse RS-485 switch-boards
eHouse RS-485 switch-board are professional, ready to use, internally connected (low voltage) and mounted for fast installation in the building.
RM switch-board is single eHouse RS-485 segment of installation.

CommManager (CM)/ LevelManager (LM)
CM/LM has Ethernet interface for direct work in LAN network architecture. It also contains RS-485 interface for integration and supervision eHouse ONE controllers.
It is optimized for security system together with drives, gateways, gates, shade awnings controller (for CM) and single programable outputs (for LM). CM / LM option is software selectable&configurable (in case of LM - GSM Module is optional).
CM/LM implements algorithms for:
